Mark brings 25 years of accounting and consulting experience to our firm. He specializes in valuation, litigation support, and financial reorganization engagements.
Mark has developed valuations for a diverse client base in terms of size, stage of development, industry, and ownership (private and public). He has performed valuation analyses for a wide variety of purposes, including acquisition/sale, share issuance/redemption, stock option issuance (IRC Sec. 409A), estate and gift tax, income tax, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), marital dissolution, shareholder dispute, and financial reporting.
Mark has experience in a broad spectrum of industries, from manufacturing, scrap metal processing, and construction to energy, healthcare, and biotechnology.
Mark's litigation experience includes analyses of financial damages involving lost profits, patent infringement, breach of contract, personal injury, wrongful death, employment-related matters, and medical malpractice. Mark has testified as an expert in federal court.
Prior to joining Gleason, Mark worked for two small CPA firms, providing tax, accounting, valuation, and litigation support services to a diverse client base. Mark was also an international tax consultant and auditor for Price Waterhouse.
