Alex joined Gleason with over six years of “Big Four” public accounting experience. He offers expertise in intellectual property, forensic accounting, and other litigation support matters. Alex’s IP experience includes performing analysis of commercial success and nexus as part of secondary considerations of nonobviousness in patent infringement cases within the pharmaceutical industry. He has also performed damages analyses, such as disgorgement, lost profits, and reasonable royalty calculations in other IP related matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Alex served as a Manager in the audit practice with Ernst & Young, LLP. While at EY, he provided various audit and assurance services to both public and private clients in a variety of industries, including oil & gas, advanced manufacturing, media & entertainment, and hospitality & leisure. His responsibilities included financial statement analysis, accounting research, and internal control review and assessment to ensure clients were in compliance with GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and SEC reporting requirements.
